Florenzi, Rodrigo and Paulista moving closer to return
The Valencia CF squad trained in a session at the Ciudad Deportiva on Tuesday, under the watchful eye of Albert Celades and with club president Anil Murthy in attendance. The workout saw players Alessandro Florenzi, Rodrigo Moreno and Gabriel Paulista all make progress on their road to a return from respective inuries, upping the intensity and gradually training more frequently with the rest of the group.

Florenzi has overcome chicken pox, whilst Rodrigo and Paulista are both taking steps forward with problems that have kept them sidelined. Valencia CF have a game against Real Betis this weekend (Saturday, 4pm CET), and the entire squad are focused on being in peak form for the vital game in LaLiga.

Following the Tuesday session, Florenzi, Rodrigo and Paulista have three further sessions in which to continue pushing for a place on the squad list, which will be announced on Friday. The trio are keen to return to action and help the team with their ambitions for the remainder of the campaign.
